Choose Your Words Carefully

Choose Your Words Carefully

When I gave took the 90 Day Challenge it was to write command statements to your unconscious mind. Those statements are important as they will be acted upon by your mind so make sure you use the best possible words to describe your commands. A poor choice in words can make a huge difference.

Over the months I have been modifying my choices. Here are some examples:

  • I do at least one thing daily toward beating my goal of $1 Million annually!
  • I perform one or more actions daily toward surpassing my goal of $1 Million US dollars annually!

It might not look like much but it is much clearer to my unconscious mind. Least and beating have negative connotations and perform action is much clearer than do thing. Less ambiguity and more positively stated.

Here is another example:

  • I have conquered my fears and I am fearless and unstoppable!
  • I have conquered by fears and I am valiant and tenacious!

Fearless and unstoppable seem on the surface to be great words but they are negations. The unconscious mind has to first think fear or stop before it can negate it. Beware of negations.

So when choosing words think it through – your results depend upon it!
